Where is all the art??

With all the school work and then birthdays and AX convention, life's been a tumble with no time for drawing - and a nice mixture of artist's block. Awfully fun indeed. I will get back into loading things here... soon! +_+

Day Zero: Being out of costume when the whole group that was providing me a ride was cosplaying D.Gray-Man was a tad lonely. I was in casual clothes, doing some last minute sewing and keeping an eye out for people I know. Though otherwise, it was kinda uneventful, just an early wait in line deal. Then when I came back home, my sister nearly burnt the house. Somehow that felt typical. Haha.

Day One: I dressed as Badou again this time since Dawn (Diavana) invited me to join Christie (Nyanko-chan) and her to do a small DOGS group and a little photoshoot. Least to say, very excited that day, haha. I headed first to Artist Alley and met again many people and checked each table. So many people I recognized from dA, I cannot name all~~. I saw Haku (hakuku) again, which was awesome. Also saw Sleepar there and chatted several times - very cool fellow; I'm glad to have chatted with him. Hans Tseng (Slimu) who does Directions of Destiny was here this year, since last year he wasn't because he was in Japan. This itme, he also brought a booth babe. Good marketing skills, I say?

Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh, so many artists met, I cannot name all right now in this mindset at 2 AM.

In the end, after 2 hours wandering and talking around there, I checked the exhibition hall. I bought some art supplies and wandered again, just relaxing and eventually the shoes I work for Badou started hurting really badly. I had to take them off several times, and one of the exhibitors was really nice and offered me to sit at a chair at his booth to rest.

Later on, I met with the others and did the photoshoot, which was pretty interesting because first time I've ever done this. I've always been the photographer, even in cosplay. Props to our photographer on being very keen on the details and qualities of the photo. And many thanks to Dawn and Christie in having me in their group and all. It was fun, though I may be quiet and odd and hanging in back, haha. I hope I was an okay Badou.

After that, we split and I eventually found my ride group. Less to say, a little drama ensued, but tis troublesome story.

I'll rant on more later and about other days perhaps....
